- For the purposes of training or proficiency checks required by the Corporation, the Board of Directors designates FAA certified flight instructors who are members of the Corporation or employed by Tig Air.
- All members must be checked out and approved for Pilot In Command (PIC) privileges in each Corporation aircraft by a designated flight instructor before flying as PIC in that aircraft.
- A member must perform a thorough preflight inspection of the aircraft, including a visual inspection of the fuel quantity, prior to commencing flight. Any damage or discrepancies discovered by a member will be assumed to be the responsibility of the last user unless it has been reported previously to the Aircraft Maintenance Officer. If a condition is discovered which may affect the airworthiness of the aircraft, the aircraft shall not be flown until the discrepancy is cleared.
- Each member using the aircraft must ascertain that the airworthiness and registration certificates, appropriate operating limitations information, current aircraft radio station license and operator's manual are in the aircraft prior to flight.
- All aircraft operating limitations must be observed. Aerobatic maneuvers are prohibited except those that are permissible under the operating limitations when the aircraft is operated in the utility category.
- Flight plans must be filed with the FAA for flights over sparsely populated areas; mountainous, wooded, or desert terrain; or for extended over-water flight; and for all cross-country flights in excess of one hundred (100) nautical miles from Boonville (VER) airport.
- The Board of Directors approves operations at all airports listed in the Airport Directory of the Airman's Information Manual, all airports in the AOPA Airport Directory, and all airports shown on sectional charts provided aircraft capability, as calculated using actual conditions, indicates that sufficient runway plus a 50% safety buffer is available to takeoff/land/clear an obstacle (Exception: No flight permitted to K07 due to its terrible surface). Any member who lands on an unapproved field for an emergency must call a director of the corporation before attempting a takeoff from the field. The director contacted shall decide whether the member should attempt the takeoff.
- Members who are in training for a private pilot certificate may operate club aircraft only as approved by a club designated flight instructor. Members lacking a private pilots certificate will be restricted from flying club high performance aircraft except under the direct supervision of a club designated instructor.
- Members with less than two hundred (200) hours shall not fly Corporation aircraft:
- When weather conditions are less than two thousand (2,000) feet ceiling and three (3) miles visibility at the departure field, or when forecast (+/- one hour) along the route of flight, except when member is instrument rated or under the supervision of an instructor.
- When the surface winds exceed twenty (20) knots or when the crosswind component exceeds ten (10) knots at the departure field, or are forecast (+/- one hour) at the intended landing field, except when member is under the supervision of an instructor.
- To or from airfields less than 2999 ft. x 49 ft, except when member under the supervision of an instructor .
- Upon completion of a flight, the pilot must tidy up the aircraft. Waste paper and extra charts (a sectional chart for the local area should be kept in the aircraft) will be removed, seat belts will be straightened, etc.
- All tanks should be topped at the end of every flight unless the member next scheduled to fly is on hand and there is sufficient fuel for the intended flight. The tanks should be filled after the last flight of the day. *
- All members must complete a Flight Review every twelve (12) months with a designated flight instructor. Any member who has not performed three (3) take off and landings in the previous ninety (90) days, for currency, must perform the three (3) take offs and landings with a designated flight instructor. Any member who has not performed three (3) take off and landings in the previous one hundred eighty (180) days, for currency, must complete a Flight Review with a designated flight instructor.

Flight Reviews and landing currencies accomplished in other Corporation aircraft shall satisfy currency requirements for only that Corporation aircraft and less complex Corporation aircraft.
